Daniel’s Steakhouse Solidifies Lease for Edgewater Location

Miami’s luxury dining scene is expanding its waterfront footprint. Gioia Hospitality Group, the powerhouse father-daughter team responsible for elite hotspots Daniel’s Steakhouse (also known as Daniel’s Miami) and Daniel’s, A Florida Steakhouse, has officially secured an expansive 11,500-square-foot waterfront space in the heart of the thriving Edgewater neighborhood.

Set to anchor the ground floor of developer Aimco’s luxury condo tower project at 560 NE 34th Street, this prime spot features a stunning 2,500-square-foot outdoor footprint resting directly on Biscayne Bay. Scheduled for completion in late 2027 or early 2028, the venue will feature an open-air waterfront bar, indoor-outdoor lounges, and an ultra-premium culinary lineup focused on signature cuts of steak and fresh seafood.

Inside Daniel’s Steakhouse Fast-Growing Culinary Empire

Co-founders Thomas and Kassidy Angelo have built one of South Florida’s fastest-growing lifestyle and culinary portfolios. Since breaking onto the Fort Lauderdale scene in late 2024, the duo has moved at a breakneck pace. Their Coral Gables destination, Daniel’s Miami — launched in partnership with culinary icon Chef Fabio Trabocchi — shocked the international dining community this year by landing at a coveted No. 40 spot on the World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants list for 2026 (ranking No. 7 in North America).

With their coastal Italian concept, La Sponda, already slated to open later this year at Ugo Colombo’s highly anticipated Vita at Grove Isle, this new Edgewater project will mark the group’s fifth grand concept in just over two years.

According to the team, the unique bayside geography of the new location provides the ultimate canvas for an extraordinary luxury concept. Kassidy Angelo points out that the property offers an ideal, highly accessible bridge for upscale dining seekers living nearby in Midtown, Miami Beach, and North Miami.

A Striking Design Collaboration With Rockwell Group

To ensure the space matches the upscale lifestyle demands of Miami’s coastal crowd, the group has tapped the world-famous Rockwell Group — founded by legendary architect David Rockwell —to design the entire venue. Expect a luminous, modern aesthetic that effortlessly blends the indoor dining room with the sweeping views of Biscayne Bay.

On the development side, the deal represents a massive win for Aimco. The marquee restaurant signing brings premier tenant stability to the luxury residential tower, which is backed by a $228 million construction financing package. Aimco CEO Wes Powell expressed immense enthusiasm for the partnership, noting that Gioia Hospitality Group’s sterling reputation for delivering world-class dining aligns seamlessly with the luxury standard and upscale lifestyle being curated at the tower.

While the official restaurant name and specific menu highlights are being kept under wraps until closer to the late 2027 grand opening, one thing is certain: Edgewater is officially getting a new crown jewel for dinner, drinks, and bayside views.
